Featured in The Times Union

The Times Union recently highlighted Albany International Airport’s “Fear of Flying” program, which is designed to help travelers better understand and manage aviation-related anxiety. The program brings together clinical and aviation expertise to support individuals who experience fear when flying.

Dr. Griffan Randall and retired Southwest Airlines Captain Rick Weiss will lead the course, offering participants both psychological strategies and practical insight into the realities of air travel.

The program reflects a collaborative effort to help anxious flyers feel more informed, confident, and prepared.

The “Fear of Flying” course is on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Albany International Airport Fire House, 10 Jetway Drive, Latham, NY 12110.

The registration fee for the course is $125, payable by check to Dr. Griffan Randall. Space is limited to help ensure a supportive, small-group environment where participants feel comfortable asking questions and sharing concerns.
